It provides scientific storage and handling services for a wide range of products ranging from agricultural produce to other sophisticated industrial products.
CWC also provides warehousing facilities for import/export cargo containers.
CWC offers services in the area of clearing & forwarding, handling & transportation, procurement & distribution, disinfestations services, fumigation services, and other ancillary activities.The “Warehousing Management System” (WMS) is a web-based completely online Software Application automating all functions of warehousing activities with real-time data capturing of all operations directly in the application at all levels and subsequent generation for view/download of relevant reports with hosting of the WMS at cloud Data Centre.
WMS being a state of art marvel, path breaking & user based software providing end-to-end solutions for all type of warehousing operations at warehouse level and relevant operations at RO/CO levels.
This software has been deployed in 400+ warehouses automating the operations of CWC warehouses across the stake holding divisions of Commercial, Technical, PCS, Finance, Inspection & engineering etc.

Gate, Godown, Rail Head/Siding etc.
requires additional effort on the part of warehouse executives as the connectivity at few place in some of warehouses, located at remote place, either low, erratic or not available.
It was also observed that Office Block, Weighbridges at warehouses have wired internet connectivity but wireless connectivity at godowns, gate etc.
at warehouse complexes is sometimes erratic or with low bandwidth or not available.
As such the mobile app which can function on low internet bandwidth will facilitate the warehouse executives to enter the data on real time basis without recording in paper.
The Mobile App of WMS will provide the required data e.g.
Total Capacity, Occupancy, Vacant Space, Total Income (Storage/PCS/MF/Other Income etc.), Total Expenses drill down to warehouse level to top executives of CWC on hand while on move or in meetings to take business decisions.Therefore, The WMS Mobile application will cater the needs of the ground level workers who don’t have computer access at all times.
By the help of this application they can perform daily tasks related to receipt, storage, management and issue directly from a mobile device.
